Career Day Garment Requirements

This section applies only to Fashion Design Scholarship Applications, both College and High School Seniors.

All garments that DO NOT meet the specifications listed below will be disqualified and not shown in the Career Day Fashion Show.  

WOMEN'S BODY MEASUREMENTS:

BUST: 35"-36"

BUST POINT: 9.5"-10” DROP FROM MID SHOULDER TO BUST POINT

UNDER BUST: 30.5"-31.5"

WAIST: 26.5"

HIP: 37"   

WAIST TO FLOOR: 45.5"- 46.0"   WITHOUT SHOES

BACK NECK TO WAIST: 17.5"-18"

FRONT NECK TO WAIST: 15.5"-16"

ARM LENGTH: 24.5"-25"   FROM TOP OF SHOULDER

ABOVE BUST:  33.5”  NECESSARY FOR STRAPLESS ITEMS

IMPORTANT OPENING MEASUREMENTS:

NECKLINE   22"

WAIST  38"- 40".  MINIMUM OF 7" BELOW THE WAISTLINE

PANT HEMLINE:  12"   NON STRETCH

SKIRT HEMLINE:  36" TO ALLOW FOR RUNWAY STRIDE-CAN INCLUDE A                    

                                        SLIT OR VENT

MEN'S BODY MEASUREMENTS:

CHEST: 40"-44"

WAIST:  31"-32"

NECK:   14.5"-16"

INSEAM: 32"-34"

HEIGHT:  6"-6'2"

SLEEVE LENGTH: 33"-35" FROM CENTER BACK NECK
